Return shipping to the nearest Dulux location (to be advised by our Help & Advice team) is to be arranged and paid for by the customer. We recommend that you return the product via tracked postage and require that you pre-pay all postage. You assume any risk of lost, stolen or damaged goods during transit and therefore we recommend that you insure your parcel. Dulux will not be responsible for parcels lost, stolen or damaged in transit. Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
When purchasing paint it’s important to check the spread rate of the product. A lower spread rate means that the coverage of the product won’t be as thick, meaning that more coats will be required.
As a general guide one litre of Dulux Wall, Dulux Trim or Dulux Ceiling paint covers approximately 16m2, while one litre of Dulux Primer will cover approximately 14m2.
You can test your favourite colours at home with a 100ml sample pot or Colour Swatch to get the most accurate representation of the final result.

The higher the sheen level in a Dulux paint, the higher the shine. Want a high gloss look? Choose a high sheen level. The higher the shine, the more durable. To help you choose the right sheen level for you, here’s a handy guide.
Matt Finish: Matt paint with its low light reflection provides a sophisticated finish that helps to hide surface imperfections.
Low Sheen Finish: Low sheen paint forms a velvety finish that is hard wearing, is easy to keep clean, and is commonly used on walls.
Semi Gloss Finish: The mid-level sheen of Semi Gloss is a finish that works well on walls or on doors and skirting boards.
Gloss Finish: Gloss paint has a high reflective finish and is durable and easy to clean.
